I'm a Product Designer, Material Manipulator, and a Free Range Human
I'm passionate about product design because I believe this is the best way for me to contribute to this world. I'm dedicated to making outdoor experiences simpler, safer, and accessible to everyone. My ultimate career goal is to hear someone say my product saved their experience or even life out in the wild.
I like the satisfying feeling of making things work with whatever I have on hand. I'm a hands-on person when it comes to creating, and love crafting personal joy projects with clay, paper, foam, or 3D printed plastic
Outside of my professional life, I'm a happy camper. I've journeyed through eleven states and more than twenty National Parks and Monuments on the west side of the continental US. Through backpacking, hiking, and camping, I got lost, got wet, got hurt, and got many more good stories that I can tell. I firmly believe that bad decisions make for good stories, but only if you live to tell them. It's the collection of good memories and good stories that fuels my enthusiasm for exploration and keeps me moving forward.
